My favorite things, all in once place.
LIP BALM: C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries. The mentha balm. Personally I use the ones in the toothpaste looking mini-tube. Yes, they are glossy. The mint makes my lips feel good and soothed, that wonderful menthol feeling. I hear the tubes where the balm twists out are great, and they aren't as shiny, and they last long especially when you sleep. That said, I'm addicted to the shiny stuff. The 2x are the best....mintiest mint ever. Cinnamint is good too.
PERFUME: Anne Pliska. Limited availability, I order mine online. My sister Sally introduced me to Anne Pliska probably 30-35 years ago and it remains my favorite for life. Since first sniff I've been hooked. I can only describe it as "it makes my tongue curl, spreads a web of excitement through me." The company describes it as sparkling bergamot and orange blossoms in warm opulent amber, enveloping vanilla and musk, a touch of geranium and jasmine and a hint of patchouli." Yes, I like all those fragrances individually but each alone is bland and boring to me. Together? It's where I want to live.
WRITING INSTRUMENT: Number 2 pencil. SHARP! And then sharpen it again! And....it has to be either natural wood exterior or extremely cute. Cute as in great color and eraser, Dr. Seuss pics on it, hearts, other random goodness.
